Private Customer Portal

Sometimes, the ideas created and features published on the customer portal and other important information should only be accessed by a few key stakeholders.

Requirements:

To get started, you will need the following:

  • Chisel’s Enterprise account with maker rights

PM Actions

  1. Go to the ‘Feedback Portal’ under the Discovery pillar.
  2. To the top right of the screen, click on the ‘Configure‘ button
  3. Under Portal Privacy, change the settings to ‘Private.’
  4. Once confirmed, access to manage users will be enabled.
  5. Click on ‘Manage‘ under ‘Manage Authorized Users
  6. To individually invite users, add the email address in the box.
  7. Click on ‘Send Invite.’
  8. If you wish to bulk-add users, upload a CSV file with relevant columns of email addresses.
  9. Then click on ‘Send Invite.’
  10. If a user missed the invite in their email inbox, you can ‘Resend invite.’

Customer Actions 

  1. The user must check their email inbox. 
  2. They have to create an account using the link provided.
  3. After successfully creating an account, the user can access the particular customer portal.
  4. If the user logs out of the private customer portal, they can log in with their account credentials.
