Integrate With Amplitude

The Chisel-Amplitude integration is a straightforward process that brings Amplitude’s collaborative analytics to the Idea Box. This allows you to track visitor behavior on your website and make data-driven product decisions. 

This integration allows you to:

  1. Get a comprehensive view of how certain features perform with the qualitative and quantitative data you derive from Amplitude.
  2. Give your users the best product experience by understanding their behavioral data alongside their submitted feedback.
  3. Filter the data with the user segments in Idea Box to understand users better 

How to integrate Chisel and Amplitude?

Install the Amplitude Integration

  1. To get the Chisel access token, first go to Integrations.
  2. Here, click on Amplitude as an integration
  3. Copy the access token

This token helps you to connect Chisel with Amplitude. 

Process in Amplitude

  1. In Amplitude Data, click Catalog and select the Destinations tab.
  2. In the Cohort section, click Chisel.
  3. Enter the Name and paste the access token you copied from Chisel.
  4. Map the same Amplitude User_ID with the Organization User email related to ideas from Chisel.
  5. Save when completed.

To sync your first cohort, follow these steps:

  1. In Amplitude, open the cohort you want to sync, then click Sync.
  2. Select Chisel, then click Next.
  3. Choose the account you want to sync to.
  4. Choose the sync cadence.
  5. When completed, save your work.

Viewing Cohorts in Chisel

To check the ideas submitted by a specific cohort:

  1. Go to Idea Box
  2. Filter out the data by selecting the user segments
